In a recent meeting with our client & favorite sociologist Sudhir Venkatesh, we got hooked up with the Korean version of his book Gang Leader for a Day. Our Korean reading level is pretty poor so we can't offer any intelligent translation comparisons, but we thought that the Korean cover had some funny/weird elements: What's that golden Pooh-bear lock supposed to be? And what's with the genie lamp, especially for a book about gangs and life in the Chicago housing projects?

By the way, we've been making some updates for Sudhir on his site, including a narrative feature film and a radio documentary:
